Finance Manager

Overview

TeraGen is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Internal Finance Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for streamlining financial processes, managing subscription payments, ensuring timely collections, preparing P&L statements and financial analyses for the CEO, and assisting with budgeting. Key responsibilities include automating financial workflows, collaborating with the legal department on contract renewals and collections, and contributing to the growth of the finance department in a fast-growing tech company. We seek someone with a solid background in financial management, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to solving financial challenges.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing financial challenges.
  
  

• Monitor and manage client subscription payments, ensuring timely and accurate collections.
• Implement and maintain efficient payment tracking systems.
• Work closely with the sales and customer success teams to resolve payment-related issues.
  
  

• Prepare monthly and quarterly P&L for presentation to the CEO.
• Generate financial reports and analyzes to support decision-making processes.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models for forecasting and budgeting.
  
  

• Collaborate with department heads to gather input for budgeting processes.
• Prepare the data for the annual budget and monitor the budget on a monthly basis.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  
  

• Manage multiple bank accounts, ensuring accuracy in transactions and reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow and work towards optimizing fund utilization.
• Collaborate with banks to address any account-related issues.
  
  

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
  
  

• Identify areas for financial process optimization and efficiency.
• Implement best practices for financial management and reporting.
• Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to financial systems and workflows.
  
  

• Work with the sales and customer success team on contract signings and yearly renewals. Work with the legal department in case of IO breaches.
