Job Description

This is a full-time, hybrid position, taking place at our customer's office in Tel Aviv. This is a key role that serves as the final stamp before launching new functionality on the group's websites for viewing by thousands of users at any given time. You will be involved in building the QA strategy as well as performing daily tests. Additionally, you will participate in task definition meetings and test planning to ensure comprehensive and in-depth testing. The goal is to guarantee high-quality releases that meet the defined timelines and scope. You will also contribute to the efforts of building automated testing solutions to enable efficient and quality release cycles.

Your Role

• Defining, planning, and executing software tests. This will involve considering all relevant test types: functional, user interface, regression, integration, sanity checks, logs, and more.
• The testing will cover the editor interface and the newspaper's website across browsers, devices, and apps.
• You will be part of the team that strategizes and executes automated testing.
• You will also participate in the development efforts of automation.
• Analyzing functional requirements and collaborating with product managers to break down and plan the tests.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in QA planning and execution roles – a must.
• Experience in GUI testing in a Web environment, with an emphasis on user interface and display – a must.
• Experience in server-side testing, APIs, and databases – a must.
• Experience in analyzing information systems and functional requirements – an advantage.
• Experience in planning QA automation, writing, and executing automated tests – an advantage.
• Highly organized and methodical, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Results-driven, quick and independent learner.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and spoken.
• High-level English proficiency, both written and spoken.
