About NALA Foundation: NALA is a public benefit organization (PBO) working to eliminate neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) through innovative, community-based solutions. With a proven track record of success in Ethiopia and expanding to new regions globally, NALA focuses on creating sustainable impact in health, education, and WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene).
Position Overview: NALA is seeking an Office Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our Tel Aviv office and provide essential administrative and financial support to our team. This role is part-time (60%), with the potential to grow in scope over time.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Operations:
- Manage the daily administrative activities of the organization.
- Support the executive team and broader staff in their operational needs.
- Coordinate organizational events, including the annual general assembly, staff meetings, and community events.
- Organize meetings for the Board of Directors and assist with logistics.
Office Management:
- Oversee daily office operations, including schedules, internal processes, and communications.
- Maintain internal organizational calendars, contact lists, and document updates.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees (e.g., creating user accounts, managing permissions, and updating distribution lists).
Financial Support:
- Manage the organization's financial routines, including payroll, internal and external financial reporting.
- Coordinate with external accountants, legal advisors, and banks.
- Support financial operations with international partners and NALA’s Ethiopia-based teams under the guidance of the Finance Manager.
Collaborative Contributions:
- Work closely with various teams, including HR, operations, and executive leadership, to achieve organizational goals.
- Participate in organizational strategy discussions and cross-functional initiatives.
- Represent NALA at the annual international staff meeting abroad.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in office management and bookkeeping.
- Strong proficiency in Hebrew and English, both written and verbal.
- Expertise in MS Office (Word, Excel) and familiarity with Salesforce, Monday.com, and Google Workspace is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Prior experience with international development or global health organizations is an advantage.
