Operation and EHS manager- 3204

A leading company in the field of cultivated meat is seeking an Operation and EHS manager!

This person will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects, including facility management, EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety), preventive maintenance programs, supply chain management, and establishing infrastructure for production lines.

Responsibilities

 Facility Management: Manage building operations in collaboration with external facilities management providers, ensuring seamless and high-quality facility services. Oversee building services such as cleaning, security, maintenance, and support for all operational needs on-site.

 EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety):

• Implement EHS policies, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards while fostering a culture of health and responsibility.
• Manage waste disposal processes, including hazardous waste, to meet environmental regulations and company sustainability goals.

 Maintenance:

Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime.

Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for regular upkeep of critical machinery and systems.

 Supply Chain Management:

Oversee procurement, storage, and logistics processes to ensure efficient and timely supply of materials. Collaborate with external suppliers to maintain material availability essential to daily operations.

 Infrastructure and Production Line Setup:

• Reactivating and optimizing the production line for efficient operation. for the production lines, including equipment layout, operational protocols, and transitioning from R&D to production.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, optimize production processes, and enhance efficiency.

Requirements

 Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

 5+ years of experience in facility management and operations, including coordination with external service providers.

 Strong background in EHS practices and compliance standards.

 Experience in setting up production infrastructure and managing support processes for manufacturing

 Familiarity with cleanroom environments, bioreactors, and critical manufacturing equipment

 Proven ability to lead preventive maintenance programs and supply chain processes

 Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to optimize processes for efficiency and cost- effectiveness.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

 Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
