Incoming Materials Quality Specialist

Taro Pharmaceutical Industries is looking for an Incoming Materials Quality Specialist

Job Description:

-         Reporting and handling deviations with suppliers and manufacturers both domestically and internationally.

-         Reviewing and approving new materials during the R&D phase

-         Approving quality agreements

-         Conducting annual analysis of supplier performance

-         Defining and updating packaging material specifications

-         Working with site interfaces – supply chain, procurement, technology, warehouse, production, and R&D

-         Approving and overseeing change controls in the Trackwise system

Job Requirements:

-         Bachelor’s degree in Biology/ chemistry/ Natural Sciences- Must

-         3 years of experience in quality assurance/ similar role

-         Excellent interpersonal skills, responsibility, and commitment

-         Decision-making ability and working in a dynamic, high-pressure environment

-         English – high level of reading, writing, and speaking

-         Computer skills

-         Project management and leading processes

-         Thoroughness, initiative, analytical skills, and the ability to draw conclusions

-         Systemic vision 

-         Willingness to work overtime
