Quality Assurance Engineer

A successful Travel Tech startup has developed a platform that empowers airlines by enhancing their profitability through strategic use of the significant traffic they receive.

The platform enables airlines to operate as a marketplace that not only sells seats but also offers smart, tailored content and a range of additional services (such as hotels, car rentals, events, and more) as part of the airline's own offerings, without redirecting customers to third parties.

Seamlessly integrating with airlines’ existing systems, the solution provides an intelligent layer on top without requiring any changes to their standard operations.

The company is located in central Israel, near a train line, and has a team of 16 employees, most of whom work in development. They operate with a hybrid model, with two work-from-home days per week.

Role Overview:

As part of a small team, this role primarily involves manual testing, with approximately 20% automation using JavaScript. The position focuses on web testing, including server/client (S/C) testing and working with MySQL.

Requirements:

• Strong analytical skills to understand application flows, detect edge cases, and identify
• test scenarios.
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis for issues to help the development team address
• them.
• 3 years of experience as a manual QA engineer.
• Experience in creating and executing test plans, and test cases for web application
• testing.
• SQL knowledge for database testing and validation.
• Proficient with JavaScript
