DWH QA Engineer

We are looking for an experienced DWH QA Engineer to develop and execute manual, exploratory tests to ensure product quality. As a QA Engineer, you will estimate, plan, and coordinate testing activities. You will also ensure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

· Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide

timely and meaningful feedback.

· Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.

· Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.

· Communicate with and educate other non-data teams to ensure clear

communication and a proactive approach.

· Create and maintain documentation of QA processes, tools, and environments.

· Help monitor, maintain, and improve errors of our data pipelines.

Requirements:

· Proven working experience as a software quality assurance - mandatory

· Proven working experience in manual testing - mandatory

· Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes·

· Knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts, data structures, data pipelines and testing – an advantage

· Experience in T-SQL Query programming – an advantage.

· Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process – an advantage

· Experience with SSIS packages testing – an advantage
