UX Writer

As our UX Writer, you'll be the driving force behind DoorLoop's UX content strategy, shaping the voice and narrative of a platform used by thousands of property managers and hundreds of thousands of tenants worldwide. You'll own every stage of the UX content cycle, crafting a cohesive and compelling user experience that resonates to various stakeholders across three separate portals.

You'll collaborate with our product, design, and development teams to translate intricate concepts into accessible language for in-app content, tooltips, and product tours. Your balance of creativity and technical understanding makes you invaluable in crafting intuitive, engaging interfaces.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and maintain a consistent voice and tone for all user-facing content.
• Create clear, concise, and user-friendly copy for interfaces, including buttons, menus, error messages, tooltips, and product tours.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, UX Designers, Product Marketing, and other stakeholders.
• Write and edit microcopy for product communications that align with our brand voice and improve user engagement.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform content strategy and improvements.
• Develop and maintain content style guides and best practices for UX writing.
  
  

• Native English speaker
• 4+ years UX writing experience, preferably in tech
• Strong portfolio of digital product writing
• Expertise in UX design principles
• Ability to simplify technical concepts
• Experience with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
• Data-driven approach to content decisions
• Meticulous attention to detail
