Business Development Manager

Join our Health-Tech company as a Business Development Manager and be at the forefront of advancing early-stage technologies and their commercial viability. In this key role, you will define the market relevance of innovations, craft IP protection strategies, and collaborate with both local and international partners, including TTOs, incubators, private investors, and venture capital funds. Your mission will be to maximize the value of the health center's intellectual property, including non-patentable assets, through company formation, licensing to startups, or mature enterprises. You will also manage legal negotiations with the assistance of legal teams and support the hospital's innovation center in technology commercialization endeavors.

Requirements:  

- PhD in Life Sciences  

- Proven experience in negotiation management  

- Previous experience in technology transfer, biotechnological commercialization, and understanding of inter-organizational collaborations  

- Experience with biotech companies, executing agreements either within biotech companies or employed by universities/biotech firms/medical organizations  

- Deep familiarity with relevant ecosystems (incubators, venture capital funds, etc., both domestically and globally)  

- Full proficiency in English and Hebrew  

- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with various stakeholders within and outside the organization, including medical and research teams  

- Multi-tasking capability, handling multiple projects concurrently  

- Excellent interpersonal skills
