Open Position: R&D Scientist/Project Manager

Smart Assays is a leading Contract Research Organization (CRO) at the forefront of innovative and diverse research. We are seeking a passionate and curious R&D Scientist/Project Manager who excels in both strategic planning and hands-on laboratory work, and thrives in a dynamic and evolving research environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage research projects from conception to execution (for project managers).
• Plan, design, and perform high-level laboratory work with precision and accuracy.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to drive innovative research.
• Communicate effectively within the team and with external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or highly experienced M.Sc.
• Proven experience in cell culture.
• Self-motivated with excellent scientific skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Team player with a collaborative mindset.
• Strong background in immunology (advantageous).

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with MSD (Mesoscale Discovery) platforms.
• Working in a GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) environment
• Immunological assays (ELISA, FACS, proliferation assays, toxicity).
• Molecular biology techniques (RT-PCR, qPCR, CRISPR, electroporation).
• Unique knowledge or expertise in relevant fields.
