About us:

NEC is a large multinational, and the first Japanese company to establish a local presence via an Israeli Research Center. Located at the heart of the Herzliya Business Park, the center is doing cutting edge work in Cyber Protection, Deep Learning and AI.

Being NEC's first open innovation center, we work closely with Israeli Universities, Researchers, startups and established companies. We do proofs of concept using Israeli technologies and integrate with NEC products and our own code and inventions.

We are looking for talented & curious team players with an academic background in exact sciences (Physics, Math, Engineering) for our deep learning research. The role includes designing and developing QA tools in deep learning / LLM environment to support our current research. Previous deep learning experience is valued but is NOT a must. Rather, if you:

1.      Like analyzing data, solving real world problems and working with numerical code

2.      Have significant coding experience

3.      Want to personally grow as a developer in Machine Learning and Deep Learning while learning from the best.

4.      Like working in a truly multinational setting, with people from Japan, Singapore, US.

5.      Enjoy learning and teaching others new stuff.

6.      Believe that perfect object-oriented design, programming language choice, etc. are only a means, not the end.

7.      Prefer NOT having to have routine 9PM phone calls with a West Coast HQ…
