Cloud Architect

Mertens - Malam Team is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect for a leading government organization in Jerusalem.

Job Description:

• Responsible for managing, developing and architecting the government cloud, shared services capabilities, and team collaboration.
• Responsible for cloud policy as part of the ministry's DevSecOps policy to enable secure cloud services deployment in accordance with the Nimbus tender.
• Responsible for working jointly with budget teams on pricing and billing for cloud services to cloud customers.
• Responsible for maintaining relationships with managers and cloud leaders across various government ministries.
• Working with vendors, manufacturers, and stakeholders in cloud adoption and migration processes.
• Developing a business plan for public cloud services adoption.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of four years of experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect in AWS/GCP environment.
• Experience in leading cloud initiatives in large organizations.
• Experience in leading DevOps and CI/CD processes.
• Experience in managing technological teams using Agile/DevSecOps methodologies.
• Practical experience in vendor and contract management.
