Job Summary:
As the Talent Acquisition & HR Manager at Fireberry, you will be the sole HR professional responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle and overseeing all HR operations. In this standalone role, you will own and drive processes from start to finish, ensuring effective talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR compliance. You’ll be responsible for handling all HR-related tasks autonomously, implementing best practices, and continuously improving processes. Working in a small, dynamic environment, you’ll have a direct impact on building a solid team and shaping the company’s culture.
Talent Acquisition:
- Own the entire recruitment process independently, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires across various roles.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies and implement them through job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals to attract high-quality candidates.
- Build a proactive talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs, aligning with Fireberry’s growth goals.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and ensure that candidates align with the company’s culture and business objectives.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process, from initial outreach to final offer, managing everything from job posting to contract negotiations.
HR Management:
- Manage and execute day-to-day HR tasks autonomously, including employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and payroll coordination.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that reflect best practices while ensuring legal compliance.
- Act as the single point of contact for all employee-related matters, providing advice, guidance, and support as needed.
- Own the onboarding and offboarding process to ensure smooth transitions for new and departing employees.
- Track and manage employee records, payroll processes, and compliance with employment regulations.
- Oversee performance review cycles and manage employee feedback, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Process Ownership & Monitoring:
- As the only HR professional in the company, you will fully own, monitor, and continually improve all HR and recruitment processes.
- Ensure the successful implementation and consistent follow-through of recruitment, onboarding, and HR management tasks.
- Analyze key HR metrics and recruitment data to drive strategic decisions and improve processes over time.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in talent acquisition and HR management, with a proven ability to independently manage recruitment and HR tasks.
- Strong knowledge of recruiting best practices, HR operations, and employment laws, with the ability to implement them autonomously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across the organization and with candidates.
- Ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and handle all HR responsibilities in a fast-paced, small-company environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in HR software and recruiting tools is a plus.
- Experience working in a small company or startup, where adaptability, resourcefulness, and taking ownership are essential.
