Quality Assurance Engineer

A cybersecurity startup specializing in offensive cyber solutions, offering clients a comprehensive platform that allows them to track exactly how many targets have been breached and what information has been obtained (primarily from computers, mobile devices, and cloud accounts). Located in Tel Aviv near a train line, they offer a hybrid work model with two work-from-home days per week.

Role description: Joining an existing team, this role involves 60% manual testing with a focus on backend testing for an on-premises product over Linux, as well as scripting in Python, and working with CI tools, Docker, MongoDB, and Jira.

Requirements:

• 5 years of manual software testing experience in a software development environment.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, documentation standards (STR, STD, STP), tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in Python, with experience in scripting and using pytest.
• Familiarity with CI tools (Jenkins, Bamboo) to streamline testing processes.
• Basic knowledge of Linux and experience working in a Linux environment.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, including data validation and querying for testing purposes.
• Proficient in using task management systems such as Jira.
• Experience with Docker for managing testing environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture is an advantage
