Solutions Architect

Responsibilities:

• Lead the ideation and execution of new and existing technology initiatives, providing strategic insights and ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term vision.
• Oversee the entire architecture creation lifecycle, from concept to design completion, ensuring that architectural decisions support the company’s strategic objectives, particularly future scalability and adaptability in design.
• Develop and refine processes for maintaining up-to-date architecture, ensuring it remains accurate, dynamic, and responsive to changes throughout the Software Development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with technical teams to transition designs into operational status.
• Play a leadership role in Architectural Review Board planning and meetings, steering discussions toward strategic goals and aligning with company-wide technology initiatives.
• Spearhead the development of cost models, assessing the impact of innovation on service offerings and ensuring architectural decisions align with cost-effectiveness and long-term sustainability.
• Govern architectural solutions by analyzing the impact of innovative approaches on current services, proposing adjustments to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor progress of architectural designs, adjusting project pace or direction as needed.
• Foster collaboration across technical teams, the Customer Success Team, and clients by addressing needs, following up with research, and proposing cost-effective, efficient, and maintainable solutions to business and technical challenges.
• Stay updated on the technology landscape, identifying evolving solutions that can enhance the product line.
• Ensure effective roadmaps for new solutions, aligning with the company’s strategic vision and avoiding stranded investments.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with Cloud, Ruby, Java, and JavaScript/TypeScript (minimum), architectural design patterns, and agile methodologies.
• 5 years of consulting experience in designing and delivering Azure infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of network protocols/services and network infrastructures.
• Deep expertise in major Azure technologies, including storage accounts, VMs, Application Gateway, and Functions.
• Knowledge of ACS, AKS/Kubernetes, and related deployment services (IaC/Terraform).
• Proficiency in REST API design.
• Proven ability to understand customer needs and communicate technology solutions effectively to business stakeholders.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience in architecture within Data, Security, or GenAI Services.
