Job Description:
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will serve as the initial point of contact for potential clients, tasked with identifying qualified opportunities for the sales team and expanding the sales pipeline to meet revenue targets. This role involves using a range of sales tools, lead generation resources, events, and marketing initiatives to assess and qualify leads for the sales team. The SDR will interact with prospects via telephone and email, determining their suitability for virtual or in-person presentations.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and BANT qualify potential customers using various sales and lead generation tools
- Manage lead transitions and follow-up activities to ensure positive outcomes for clients and the sales team
- Develop corporate customer prospects through direct phone calls and email outreach
- Articulate the company's value proposition to decision-makers across multiple industries to gauge buying interest
- Conduct weekly reviews of lead development, new additions, and field sales intelligence; maintain records and generate reports on all activity phases
- Stay informed about new products, services, and other customer-relevant information through successful completion of sales training and self-study
- Achieve or exceed daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals and production levels as defined
Requirement:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Outbound SaaS sales or lead generation, preferably within the Cyber/AI or Networking/Security vertical.
- Proven experience in cold calling, email outreach, and the ability to identify and overcome sales objections.
- Strong communication skills, both spoken and written, with additional languages considered an advantage.
- Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented startup environment.
- Experience with sales acceleration tools such as Hubspot, and Salesforce.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Additional languages are an advantage.
