Research Scientist – Protein Purification

Positions Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled protein purification scientist to join our Protein Purification R&D team. The selected candidate will play a key role in the development of upstream and downstream processes of the company’s antibodies and manage CMOs.  

Responsibilities:

·        Act as a hands-on scientist in the Protein Purification R&D team

·        Design and conduct experiments to optimize and troubleshoot purification processes for biological products in

different scales.

·        Write and review protocols and SOPs.

·        Provide scientific and technical support to other teams and departments.

·        Maintain detailed laboratory records and data.

Hands-on Experience

·        Strong experience with protein purification techniques, including chromatography, ultrafiltration, and TFF.

·        Working in HTP mode (advantageous)

·        Chromatography techniques with FPLC (mandatory)

·        Cell culture techniques, including sterile practices with various cell types and maintenance of mammalian cell lines (mandatory)

·        HPLC experience (advantageous)

Qualifications:

·        MS.c/Ph.D in life sciences with relevant experience in academy and a minimum 2 years of experience in industry

·        Self-motivated with positive “can-do” attitude, strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

·        Ability to take on responsibilities and meet targets

·        Fast learner, multitasker, well-organized with a commitment to keeping accurate records
