Research Associate

A biotech startup developing a revolutionary blood test for early cancer diagnostics seeks a talented and highly motivated researcher to join our growing R&D team.

Position Overview:

The position offers a unique opportunity for project management and hands-on R&D work. The role includes leading projects, designing and executing experiments, and conducting laboratory benchwork.

Responsibilities:

• Manage R&D projects: Lead and oversee core R&D projects. Work closely with a collaborative team, aligning project objectives and timelines. Provide regular updates and reports, track project progress, and address challenges.
• Experiment Design and Analysis: Work closely with senior scientists to design experiments that align with project goals. Analyze experimental data, interpret findings, and prepare reports and presentations to communicate results.
• Perform wet lab work: Conduct molecular biology assays and R&D experiments, including the processing and analysis of clinical samples. Responsibilities include planning experimental protocols, conducting assays, optimizing and refining protocols, troubleshooting technical issues, and analyzing and documenting results.

Qualifications:

·        Ph.D. in life science

·        Experience with molecular biology techniques

·        Knowledge in R or Python programming- an advantage

·        Experience in statistical analysis- an advantage

·        Strong organizational skills

·        Multitasking capabilities

·        Excellent interpersonal skills

·        Excellent English
