Job Summary:

We seek an experienced and dedicated Biomedical Data Analyst to join our multidisciplinary R&D team and actively contribute to our medical product development. This role combines expertise in data analysis with medical product development.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in biological data analysis and a strong understanding of medical product development within a multidisciplinary context.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data obtained from proprietary sensors to support research and product development.
• Produce correct conclusions based on rigorous mathematical analysis and principles of statistics and probability
• Perform data analysis using statistical techniques and software tools, produce reports discussing research findings and conclusions
• Identify trends, patterns, and correlations in data to support product development and decision-making.
• Maintain detailed documentation of data analysis methodologies and processes.
• Design and conduct experiments to support the research and development of multidisciplinary medical products.
• Research and develop novel algorithms and mathematical models for clinical data analysis.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including specifications, test protocols, and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data analysis into project planning and execution.
  
  

• BSc Biomedical Engineering or Life Sciences with a specialization in Bioinformatics.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in an R&D role within a medical device company-must
• Experience in data analysis for a multidisciplinary product, with a strong understanding of its complexity.
• In-depth understanding of R&D processes and medical device development procedures, including regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in programming languages and data analysis tools, particularly Python- must
• Experience working in a ‘wet’ R&D lab environment—an advantage
• Familiarity with optical sensors and optical devices—an advantage.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail, enabling thorough documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Ability to multitask and provide support for multiple projects simultaneously.
