About the role:

We’re looking for a Full stack Team Lead who is a true tech enthusiast, creative thinker, and excels at execution to join our platform team. Our technology stack includes NodeJS, React, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch on AWS. We are heavily invested in cutting-edge technologies, exceptional user experiences, and AI integration. Responsibilities:

• Lead and Mentor: Manage a team of full-stack developers and a QA automation engineer, fostering growth and ensuring high performance.
• Technical Ownership: Take charge of the availability, resilience, monitoring and scalability of our solutions on AWS cloud services.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Design, and Data teams to define requirements and translate them into well-architected software components.
• Full Development Lifecycle: Oversee the entire development process, from concept to deployment, creatively solving complex challenges.
• Innovation and Implementation: Guide the team in designing and building new systems from scratch, integrating machine learning and algorithmic modules.
• Best Practices Enforcement: Implement and promote best coding practices, testing, and deployment methodologies.
• Performance Optimization: Drive continuous improvements in code quality, performance, and team productivity.
• Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and advocate for their adoption to maintain a competitive edge.

• Extensive Experience: 5+ years as a backend/full-stack developer with NodeJS (TypeScript experience is a plus).
• Leadership Skills: 2+ years in a leadership role, managing and mentoring software development teams.
• Frontend Proficiency: Strong experience with React (primary) and familiarity with Angular (legacy) or Vue.
• Testing Expertise: Solid knowledge of frontend and backend testing frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Mocha).
• Database Knowledge: Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, particularly Elasticsearch 8+ and MongoDB.
• Cloud Mastery: Extensive experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS services.
• High-Scale Project Experience: Proven track record of working on production-grade, high-scale projects.
• AI Integration: Experience integrating LLM-infused features into applications.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile development practices and project management tools.
