Responsibilities

• Collecting and analyzing data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that will support business growth

• Creating and maintaining data models, databases, and central dashboards to support data-driven decision-making

• Developing reports, visualizations, and presentations to communicate strategic findings and presenting these insights as recommendations to key stakeholders to aid business decisions

• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and optimization based on data insights

• Perform ad-hoc analyses to answer business questions and seek data-based insights for business operations improvement

• Maintain a corporate repository of metric definitions, ensuring clarity and consistency

• Monitor data quality and resolve any issues in collaboration with data owners

• Collaborating with stakeholders and data scientists to establish business goals, metrics, and requirements and then translate these specifics into business analysis solutions

Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in a similar role (business analyst, data analyst, reporting analyst, or quantitative analyst)

• English Speaker - mother tongue or equivalent

• Applicant can be based in USA or Israel

• Job is remote, during NY, USA business hours

• Strong technical skills in data collection, data mining, and statistical modeling techniques

• Work experience with programming languages and tools including SQL and Excel

• Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI to create compelling visualizations and reports

• Deep understanding of database concepts such as database structures, query languages, and data warehousing principles to keep the data warehouse organized

• Experience handling business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI, IBM Cognos to extract and analyze data

• Experience with information systems in the context of [machine learning, SAS,big data] is a strong advantage

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen and articulate your ideas clearly

• Analytical, diligent, and rigorous in your approach to problems

• Curiosity about data and a passion for finding answers hidden in data sets
