We are seeking a seasoned VP of Sales for a B2D DevTool company.
This position will lead a global sales team, focusing on driving growth in the software and SaaS sectors.
This role will be instrumental in strategizing, designing, and executing global sales initiatives, ensuring we meet our ambitious growth targets. the VP of Sales will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales growth, expand the customer base, and capture new markets.

What you'll do:
- Sales Strategy: Lead the execution of sales plans, quota allocation, and geo-expansion strategies, ensuring alignment across regions and teams.
- Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and manage the global sales team, fostering a high-performance culture. Support Account Executives in closing deals and achieving their targets.
- Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, developing and executing specific sales programs tailored to high-potential regions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with AE’s, marketing, and other teams to drive pipeline generation and management, ensuring seamless execution of sales programs.
- Customer Advocacy: Champion the voice of the customer within the organization, working with Customer Success, BDRs, Solution Architects, Product, and R&D to ensure positive customer experiences and successful renewal processes.
- Sales Programs: Design and implement sales initiatives to drive growth in new verticals and regions.
- Pipeline Management: Collaborate with marketing and BDR teams to manage and grow the sales pipeline through effective prospecting, qualification, and outreach.
- Sales Methodologies: Utilize sales methodologies like MEDDPIC to maintain consistency and effectiveness in the sales process.
- Revenue Growth: Drive quarterly and yearly revenue growth, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Collaboration: Foster strong collaboration across product and R&D departments.
What You’ll Need:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in enterprise software or SaaS sales, with a proven track record of managing regional quotas and teams.
- Leadership: 10+ years of total sales experience, with a demonstrated history of achieving sales targets and leading global sales teams.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of technology and business, with the ability to pitch to both developers and C-suite executives.
- Sales Expertise: Deep experience in account planning, pipeline management, and sales processes.
- Hunter Mentality: A natural go-getter who thrives on finding and closing new opportunities.
- Matrix Management: Comfortable working within a matrix organization and leveraging cross-functional resources.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Attitude: Energetic, creative, and resilient, with a can-do mindset. Willing to work across time zones to meet global demands.
- Language Proficiency: Native-level proficiency in English. Knowledge of additional languages like German or French is a plus.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50%.
