Engineering Group Lead

The company has developed an advanced task and project management platform that integrates numerous parameters, enabling comprehensive tracking of sales and client processes. This platform provides a collaborative environment for team members and external partners to communicate, share files, and manage workflows seamlessly.

In addition to core functionalities, the platform includes automations and integrations with external systems, making it highly versatile. It has already attracted around 4 million users worldwide.

Role Overview:

Reporting to the VP of Business Engagement, this is a strategic, cross-functional leadership role with significant business and operational impact. You will lead a growing, entrepreneurial-minded team with a vision focused on the Marketplace domain. The team currently comprises 8 members, including 5 developers, a product manager, designers, and analysts, and is expected to expand. This hands-on role requires a blend of engineering expertise and business acumen, guiding decisions around infrastructure on AWS (EKS, RDS) and ensuring smooth scaling of products already in production.

This role is ideal for a leader with both a deep engineering foundation and an intrinsic understanding of product management, ready to make a significant impact on a rapidly growing platform and team.

Location: Tel Aviv (Hybrid, 2 days remote)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a talented team working with a full-stack tech stack (Node, TypeScript/JavaScript, React, AWS) and ensure optimal tech choices, tool selection, and alignment with business objectives.
• Create and execute the group’s product roadmap, with a product-oriented mindset to support further developments in Marketplace functionalities.
• Collaborate with Product and Business stakeholders to drive innovative solutions that support product growth and customer needs.
• Maintain close alignment with the engineering team’s technical direction without actual coding, fostering a strong connection to the field.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Experience as a CTO, Co-Founder, or senior manager with a strong product orientation; proven ability to lead teams while driving both technical and product management aspects.
• Demonstrated experience managing and scaling engineering teams with an entrepreneurial and business-focused approach.
• Strong technological background, particularly with full-stack and cloud technologies (AWS), and the ability to stay close to technical details.
• Experience in SaaS, production environments, and project management systems.
