QA Engineer

A software development company in Tel Aviv with a unique AI defense product is looking for a QA Enginner and help revolutionize the shipping industry, focusing on autonomous vessels. They aim to enhance maritime safety with intelligent navigation solutions that minimize human errors and improve decision-making for Captains and Officers using real-time data.

Responsibilities

• Create test plans for marine IoT devices.
• Test software on Linux devices running Docker and cloud services.
• Develop and execute test automation scripts.
• Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, and product teams to find effective solutions.
• Stay informed about industry advancements.
  
  

• Minimum 4 years of QA engineering experience.
• Proven ability to draft test plans and test software on Linux/cloud platforms, including REST APIs.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Linux and scripting.
• Proficient in Python for at least 2 years.
• Over 3 years of experience testing complex systems.
• Familiar with Continuous Integration and Deployment.
• Proficient in GitLab and Jenkins (2+ years).
• Experience with bug management tools like Jira.
• Experience in an agile/Scrum environment.
  
  

• Familiar with cloud platforms, especially AWS (2+ years).
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• "Can-do" attitude and a team player mentality.
  
  

• Experience with microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development, or a related field.
