DB Engineer

Modellama's is looking for a DB Engineer . The goal of a DB Engineer is to ensure the availability, reliability, performance, and security of the databases under their management, enabling the organization to effectively store, manage, and utilize its data.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize database performance
• Plan and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions
• Take care of database security, including data encryption
• Data base maintenance
• Participate in database design and development projects that meet business requirements.
• Share knowledge with the team
• Support different departments on data preparation level
  
  

• At least 5 years of experience with SQL server
• At least 3 years of experience in query tunning, including monitoring solutions and analyzing execution plans
• Working on application and infrastructure side
• Solid T-SQL understanding: views, trigger, stored procedure, code optimization, Index’s.
• Experience in building replicas, DR, backup’s, log shipping mechanisms
• Optimizing and improving process
• Experience in migration between SQL versations
• Experience in working with SSIS, SSRS
• Service-Oriented with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in non-standard hours
