Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our dynamic team at Wiv. In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-growing startup, engaging with a wide range of companies, and supporting them on their journey to optimize FinOps with Wiv’s cutting-edge solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Outreach:
• Identify and qualify potential leads through various channels including outbound calls, emails, and social media.
• Conduct research to understand prospective clients’ business challenges and introduce them to Wiv’s tailored FinOps automation solutions.
• Engage with key decision-makers to set up meetings for the sales team.
Customer Engagement:
• Build and nurture relationships with potential clients, acting as the first point of contact for new business opportunities.
• Present Wiv’s value proposition clearly, addressing the unique needs and challenges of each potential client.
• Track and follow up on leads to ensure a smooth handoff to the sales team.
Market Insights & Collaboration:
• Stay updated on FinOps and cloud cost optimization trends to engage potential clients with relevant insights.
• Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to refine messaging and improve outreach effectiveness.
Sales Support:
• Assist the sales team in moving prospects through the sales pipeline by gathering key information and scheduling meetings.
• Document and track all interactions with prospects in the CRM to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.
Requirements:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to identify customer pain points and provide relevant solutions.
• Experience in outbound lead generation or business development, preferably in a tech or SaaS environment.
• High motivation and a results-driven mindset with a passion for FinOps and cloud technologies.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
