Engineering Group Lead (AutoPilot)

A software developing company is looking for an experienced Engineering Group Lead to head their Autopilot group and shape their automated workflow product, developer framework, marketplace, and integration solutions that connect to a wide range of systems.

You will manage a group of highly talented engineers and team leaders, leading multidisciplinary teams that include engineers, product managers, UX designers, customer success managers, and more. These teams operate as small, independent business units, taking full ownership and accountability of their domains.

You will be responsible for building the next-generation automation tools, pushing the boundaries of innovation to meet scaling and user experience challenges. Your role will directly impact how developers build apps and empower users to create their workflows.

You'll develop their no-code and low-code platform, enabling users to create automated workflows and seamless integrations with various external services such as Slack, GitHub, Twilio, and more. With over 100K new workflows added daily and 1 billion actions executed monthly, the platform is growing rapidly, with usage increasing by 100% year-over-year.

As part of your role, you'll evolve their architecture and engineering processes to support the increasing scale of users, features, and data. You will also lead the group through the next phases of hyper-growth, scaling the team by adding more product and infrastructure teams while cultivating an excellent engineering culture.

Requirements

• Impact-driven with a strong focus on user and business needs, with a passion for building high-quality products and fostering a positive engineering culture.
• 2+ years of experience leading development groups or managing high-complexity engineering teams.
• Proven ability to scale teams, nurture talent, and manage high-paced hiring.
• Experienced in handling complex software architectures designed for high concurrency and scalability, preferably in web and SaaS environments.
• Strong communication skills, able to convey messages clearly and effectively.
• A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with strong empathy and collaboration skills.
