Hardware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deep knowledge of designing and developing electronic components, systems, and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, manufacturing, quality, marketing) to translate product requirements into technical specifications.
• Select electronic components and technologies, ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and updated technologies, and replace obsolete components.
• Drive the development of electronic circuits and PCB layouts and assist in the development of software/firmware as needed.
• Conduct design reviews and ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and safety requirements.

• Stay abreast of the latest trends, advancements, and emerging technologies in electronic engineering.
• Evaluate new technologies and assess their potential applicability to medical devices, specifically to GI-View’s products.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in electronic design and functionality.

• Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO), and industry best practices (e.g., GMP).
• Implement and maintain design control processes to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Oversee testing, verification, and validation activities for electronic components and systems.
• Collaborate with quality assurance and regulatory affairs teams to address any identified issues or concerns.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as mechanical engineering, software/firmware development, and product management, to ensure seamless electronic components and systems integration.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to meet project goals.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.

• Bachelor's degree in electronic engineering, electrical engineering, or related fields.
• Extensive experience in electronic design and development, preferably in the medical devices industry.
• Strong knowledge of electronic engineering principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in electronic design tools (e.g., Altium, Cadence) and simulation software.
• Knowledge of multidisciplinary systems, embedded systems, firmware development, and wireless communication technologies.
