Security Researcher

A Cyber Security startup has developed deep learning-based technology tailored to the cyber world. With their technology, the company prevents cyberattacks before they infiltrate organizations, rather than just detecting them afterward.

The company is located in Tel Aviv, near a train station, and offers a hybrid work model with two days of remote work. They have approximately 250 employees globally, with around 110 employees in Israel. In Israel, the teams include R&D, Product, and senior management, while sales and marketing are based abroad.

The company is preparing for an IPO and has completed a Series D funding round, raising a total of $250M so far.

Role description: Join a team of two researchers, reporting to the Team Lead.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field from a reputable university, or equivalent experience at a renowned company.
• 3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity research, with a focus on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and data security (DSPM, DAG, DLP, etc.).
• Advanced knowledge of cyber threat vectors and countermeasures, including familiarity with the MITRE framework.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
