Data Centre Infrastructure Specialist

The Data Centre Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for overseeing electromechanical systems within data centers, from initial planning to execution. This position involves leading planning teams, managing facility construction, conducting vendor selections, and supervising construction and commissioning operations to ensure that infrastructure systems meet performance and reliability standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and design of electromechanical systems to align with project requirements and objectives.
• Manage facility construction, overseeing the installation of electrical, air conditioning, and building management systems (BMS).
• Conduct vendor selection and manage contracts to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Supervise the construction and commissioning of data center infrastructure, ensuring all systems operate within specified design parameters.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges, optimize system performance, and adhere to safety and compliance standards.
• Manage large-scale projects with cross-functional teams, ensuring completion within budget and timeline.
• Minimum Requirements:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in building, operating, and maintaining electrical, air conditioning systems, and BMS.
• Experience in building and operating data centers is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong management and leadership skills, with experience leading large technological infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in English.
• Professional certifications are a plus (e.g., Data Centre Infrastructure Management, Project Management).
