Data Centre Infrastructure Specialist

A Data Infrastructure and Analytics Company is looking for a skilled Data Centre Infrastructure Specialist to oversee the planning, execution, and maintenance of electromechanical systems in data centers. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of critical infrastructure, from initial design through to commissioning. Responsibilities:
* Plan, design, and oversee the implementation of electromechanical systems, ensuring alignment with project goals.
* Manage the construction of facilities, including the installation of electrical systems, air conditioning units, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
* Lead vendor selection processes and manage contracts to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
* Supervise the construction and commissioning of data center infrastructure to guarantee systems meet design specifications and operational standards.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to address technical challenges, enhance system performance, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
* Oversee large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring completion within budget and on schedule.

Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in building, operating, and maintaining electrical, air conditioning systems, and BMS.
* Experience in constructing and operating data centers (preferred but not mandatory).
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred but not mandatory).
* Strong leadership and management skills with a track record of successfully delivering large-scale infrastructure projects.
* Fluent in English.
* Professional certifications (e.g., Data Centre Infrastructure Management, Project Management) are an advantage.
