Fullstack Engineer Team Lead

A successful and profitable startup company in the Ad-Tech field, developing an automated system to optimize mobile advertising campaigns. The company is an innovative technology firm led by data scientists and engineers dedicated to mobile app growth, with proprietary ad platforms powered by machine learning.

They deliver valuable results and insights for a fast-growing clientele of major app developers using advanced programmatic user acquisition and retargeting technologies. Their state-of-the-art machine learning technology processes tens of terabytes of raw data daily to generate millions of ad recommendations in real time.

The role involves managing two offshore developers, with approximately 80% hands-on work. The technology stack includes NodeJS and React.

The company has about 75 employees, is profitable and stable, and is located in Tel Aviv near a train station. They offer a hybrid work model with two work-from-home days per week.

About the role

• Design and develop APIs or integrate with 3rd party APIs
• Performing code reviews to other team members
• Assist in-house teams and supply creative solutions for various problems
• Understand and implement security and data protection needs
• Mentor team members to reach their full potential
• Hire new team members
• Manage a time-efficient sprint plan

Requirements-

• 6+ years of coding experience:
• Backend (NodeJS is preferred)
• Frontend (One of the popular frameworks; React, Vue, Angular)
• Working knowledge with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Working with one of the cloud providers: AWS, Google, Microsoft
• 1+ years of management experience - advantage
• Experience in the software life cycle and knowing how to work in an agile environment
• Comfortable with receiving code reviews, as well as giving code reviews to others
• Good English
