Quality Assurance Engineer

A startup company in the Security sector, this innovative Israeli cybersecurity firm provides technology that enables organizations to maintain full control over the SaaS applications they use and enforce their security policies.

The company has raised $66 million to date and is experiencing significant growth, having increased its revenues by 400% over the past year.

Located in Tel Aviv near a train station, the company employs 90 people and offers the option to work from home one day a week.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and run comprehensive test plans for both new and existing complex features, leveraging a deep understanding of product, business, and technical requirements.
• Champion a shift-left testing philosophy, actively collaborating with developers to integrate testing earlier in the software development lifecycle.
• Proactively identify and address potential quality issues at the early stage of development, minimizing risks and enhancing overall product quality.
• Conduct root cause analysis for identified bugs, leveraging analytical skills to pinpoint the underlying issues and collaborating with the team to implement effective resolutions.
• Work closely with the R&D team to strategically plan, design, and implement automation tests aimed at enhancing our regression coverage.
• Work independently to execute assigned tasks, taking ownership of the testing process and ensuring that deadlines are met.

Requirements-

• 4 years of QA engineering experience.
• Proficiency in running manual tests for web applications (client and server-side).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to perform deep root cause analysis.
• Experience in writing test plans based on new feature requirements.
• In-depth knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and version release process.
• Hand-on experience with logs and monitoring tools.
