Data Engineering

A sports-tech company that developed a leading sports results and data application, featuring ultra-fast alert technology. The company enables users to receive real-time, accurate results and advanced statistics on teams, players, and leagues based on their preferences.

The app provides results for over 2,000 competitions across various sports in multiple languages. In 2023, the company was acquired.

The role involves development in Python within an AWS environment, working with Redshift.

Located in Tel Aviv, near the train station, with the option of one work-from-home day.

Requirements-

• Relevant Bachelor's degree – preferably CS, Engineering/ Information Systems, or other equivalent Software Engineering background.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data engineer.
• Strong SQL abilities and hands-on experience with SQL and no-SQL DBs, performing analysis and performance optimizations.
• Hands-on experience in Python or equivalent programming language
• Experience with data warehouse solutions (like BigQuery/ Redshift/ Snowflake or others)
• Experience with data modeling, data catalog concepts, data formats, data pipelines/ETL design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Experience with AWS/GCP cloud services such as GCS/S3, Lambda/Cloud Function, EMR/Dataproc, Glue/Dataflow, and Athena.
