In this role, you will be responsible for the team’s analytics capabilities. This includes building both regular and ad hoc tools, reports, and dashboards, as well as insightful analyses to support operational tracking and ensure our team is making intelligent and informed decisions. These insights will inform process, tooling, and product changes, positively impacting our entire channel ecosystem.

You’ll also help create and maintain the data infrastructure for Check Point’s Sales Operations Leadership and act as the bridge between the central Management Information System unit our Growth Experts and our management. In short, you’ll be a critical part of ensuring a seamless data experience by enabling us to make strategic, data-driven decisions as we launch new tools, and add new capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Own & operate the Sales Operations Data Analysis team Data Lake and Data Architecture
• Design new data collection and analysis processes.
• Own the entire group’s ETL processes.
• Build semi-automatic and fully-automatic analytics tools to support all business needs
• Will be using APIs and Connectors to be able to use our Data Lake effectively.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of data analyst/data engineer experience
• Proven SQL & Python mastery (SAS is an advantage).
• Ability to build complex ETL Processes
• Experience in data models and reporting packages
• Experience working with different databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and building out data infrastructure and reporting (a background in Tableau is a plus)
• Comfortable working with colleagues in different time zones and cultures
• High EQ, some corporate experience, and a passion for excellent customer experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, or Economics is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• An analytical mind and an inclination for problem-solving
