Controller

About the Role:

BROOK is looking for a talented and ambitious Controller. As controller at Brook you will be part of our new finance department within an agile, fast- paced, and fast-growing exciting and dynamic company. In this role you will be responsible for various aspects of the company’s finances while working with an amazing group of people. The role offers personal development opportunities into more senior roles in finance as the company develops and reaches new heights.

It is important to note that while the company has a bookkeeper who you will work closely with, the role includes hands-on day to day responsibilities that are critical for the company to run smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Production of financial reports, balance sheets, and maintenance of accounting records.
• Responsible for the accounting operations of the company and cash flow management.
• Successful management and oversight of the day-to-day accounting and financial operations, including cash receipts and disbursement cycles, payroll oversight, customer and vendor management process, and banking oversight. 
• Create finance procedures within the team and company.
• Advise management, backed by financial documentation, on important strategic decisions.

Requirements:

• CPA with a B.A. in Accounting/Law from a leading university
• At least 5 years of experience from one of the Big 4 accounting firms or similar industry position 
• Highly motivated individual, ready to take on the word.
• Quick analytical thinker.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience in managing stressful and complicated situations.
• Fluent in English - both spoken & written.
