Assistant Financial Controller (Africa Operations)

We are looking for a highly motivated top talent to join our HQ located in Israel, as an Assistant Financial Controller. In this role, you will be a key player in our subsidiaries' leadership team, contributing significantly to our financial operations across Africa.

Position Overview:

As an Assistant Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our African subsidiaries from our headquarters in Israel. Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager, you will ensure that financial activities align with company protocols, with a strong emphasis on compliance with transfer pricing regulations and internal financial procedures.

This role requires effective daily communication with finance teams in Africa, ensuring smooth execution of financial processes and alignment with headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

•                    Assist in leading our subsidiaries, requiring a proactive, autodidact approach and flexible thinking.

•                    Manage remote teams efficiently, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills.

•                    Exhibit proficiency with numbers and data analysis to support financial decision-making.

•                    Monitor the financial activities of our subsidiaries in Africa to ensure compliance with corporate

procedures and regulations.

•                    Collaborate closely with local finance teams to oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring

adherence to transfer pricing and compliance standards.

•                    Communicate effectively and regularly with senior management and finance teams at headquarters in

Israel to report on financial performance and identify any areas needing attention.

•                    Implement and maintain established financial workflows and procedures, ensuring seamless

coordination between local and global operations.

•                    Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting from African offices to headquarters.

•                    Monitor risk management and compliance, specifically in relation to international regulatory

requirements.

Key Requirements:

•                    Experience: 2-4 years of experience in financial teams, preferably in an international company.

•                    Education: A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics or a related

field.

•                    Experience with Platforms: Experience working with Monday.com platform – advantage.

•                    Skills: Hands-on and proactive approach with excellent attention to details. Must possess strong verbal

and written communication skills and be able to work effectively across cultures and time zones.

•                    Languages: Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of French language is an advantage.
