Information Technology Technician

Are you a tech-savvy problem solver looking for your next challenge? BTB is on the lookout for a dynamic IT Technician!

This is our company's first internal IT Technician role. Until now, we have relied on external service providers, but we are now bringing this critical function in-house. This is your chance to lead and manage our IT operations directly, support our growing tech needs, and grow with us as we build and expand our internal IT infrastructure.

This position is primarily based in Tel Aviv. However, you may be required to travel to our Natanya office as needed, approximately once a month

Your Role:

• Laptop Installation & Configuration: Set up and configure new laptops, including software installation and network settings. Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software issues to keep our tech running smoothly.
• Technical Support: Offer on-site and remote support for hardware, software, and network issues. Quickly diagnose and resolve problems to minimize disruptions and keep our team moving forward.
• Third-Party Coordination: Serve as the key liaison between BTB and external IT service providers. Manage service requests and coordinate with vendors to handle repairs and updates.
• Documentation & Reporting: Keep meticulous records of IT assets, document technical procedures, and generate reports on IT support activities and system performance.
• IT Infrastructure Maintenance: Assist with maintaining and upgrading our IT infrastructure. Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance to ensure everything runs optimally.
• Training & Guidance: Provide basic training on IT tools and best practices, and support employees in adopting new technologies.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: At least 2 years in an IT support role, ideally in a small to mid-sized company.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and macOS, productivity software, and basic networking. Essential experience with laptop hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, strong communication, and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical staff.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptability: Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving IT needs.
• Education: Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) - a plus.
