Digital Hardware Development Lead

A large and well-known defense company is looking for a Digital Hardware Development Lead to oversee the development of hardware boards from the requirements formulation stage, through design, to supporting and transferring the product to mass production.

The role includes defining requirements, building architecture, selecting technologies, leading a matrix development team, overseeing design reviews and professional evaluations, and being responsible for performance, quality, and development schedules.

Requirements

• An Electronics Engineer with at least three years of hands-on experience in hardware development and High-Speed Board Design.
• A good understanding of CPU/FPGA embedded boards, high-speed communication protocols, and fast transceivers.
• Knowledge in FPGA and VHDL development – an advantage.
• Experience in rugged hardware development for military systems – an advantage.
