We are looking for a talented Automation Engineer who will join our dev team. As an Automation Engineer at HoneyBook, you will be responsible for writing tests, as well as building, developing, and maintaining our automation infrastructure and framework. Be at the forefront of our product quality, by allowing our dev team to move fast, and catch issues before they reach our clients.

Here are a few of the things you'll do…

• Design, build, and maintain automation tests, framework, and infrastructure for both web and mobile.
• Keep automation current, and flexible to enable the scale of our platform.
• Take a role in establishing best practices and as a mentor to our automation contributors.
• You will be a focal point for one of our development groups, and will support the group automation requirements and needs.

• Mobile Automation: Appium, WebDriver.io

Here's What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in automation frameworks (both web and mobile). - Must
• 2+ years of experience in contributing to designing the automation project architecture - Must
• Strong object-oriented programming, debugging/troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong ability to investigate the root cause of issues.
• Fluent in QA and agile methodologies.
• Adhering to best practices in test planning and development.
• Strong self-learning skills.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Experience in SaaS web-based applications.
• Fluent in English in reading and writing.
• Experience in development and configuration of CI/CD pipelines in tools like Codefresh, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar. - Big advantage
• Experience with Playwright and Appium - advantage.
• Knowledge in TypeScript - advantage.
• Knowledge of web development basics (HTML, CSS, etc). - advantage
• Experience in working with container solutions like (Docker, and Kubernetes) - advantage
• BSc in Computer Sciences or equivalent - advantage
