Controller

TLV Partners is looking for a Controller to join our team in Tel-Aviv. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Firm’s finance team to administer our $1B of capital under management.

We are looking for a CPA who is excited about accounting work, with an ambition to learn about VC accounting. Someone who doesn’t shy away from hard work, knows databases and technology, and can work well with a professional, committed team.

Responsibilities:

• Own quarterly financial statement preparation.
• Prepare and manage audit and tax return reports, including K-1 filings.
• Prepare the quarterly reporting to fund investors.
• Prepare the fund capital calls and distributions.
• Ensure international compliance with foreign regulatory agencies for all fund entities.
• Maintain the Funds’ databases.
• Maintain detailed budgets for the Firm’s management companies and supervise actual companies’ operational cost vs budget reporting and analysis.
• Lead financial operations such as payments, intercompany recharges, cash management etc.
• Collect, analyze and monitor portfolio KPIs.

Skills and Experience:

• CPA
• 3+ years of experience in one of the big four (Tech/funds practice) and/or experience in a relevant finance position.
• Strong preference will be given to candidates with experience in venture capital or other funds.
• Advanced experience working with excel and google docs.
• High communication skills, both in English and Hebrew, written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently in a responsible, responsive, communicative and transparent manner.
• Highly organized and with strong time and project management abilities, including, strong ability to multitask.
