AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

At AWS, we are hiring the best technical cloud computing architects to help our customers and partners develop technical expertise and capacity.

Key job responsibilities

Our consultants will collaborate with partner and client teams to deliver proof-of-concept projects, conduct topical workshops, and lead implementation projects. These professional services engagements will focus on key customer solutions such as web applications, enterprise applications, HPC, batch processing and big data, networking, archiving and disaster recovery.

Travel to client locations as and when required.

Ability to communicate (written and verbal) fluently in Hebrew and English.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT implementation experience
• Experience in automation through devops scripting (e.g. shell, python, ruby, powershell)
• Experience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologies
• Experience in large scale migration- data center to data center or data center to cloud infrastructure
• Experience with CloudFormation, Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible in production environments
  
  

• Knowledge of the primary aws services (ec2, elb, rds, route53 & s3)
• Experience facilitating discussions with senior leadership regarding technical / architectural trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation
• * Designing the cloud environment for a company based on its requirements
• * Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimising the cloud environment
• * Collaborating with other technology team members to complete projects
• * Creating cloud-based applications that are efficient and secure
• * Converting the technical requirements of projects into suitable architecture
• * Ensuring cloud solutions and operations are reliable
• * Staying abreast of new technologies and trends in cloud computing
