General Description

This is a full-time position based in Tel Aviv with a hybrid work model. You will be responsible for the overall financial management of the Israeli office, including accounting, finance, procurement, and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Financial Management:
• Oversee and manage the financial planning and analysis process.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and present insights to leadership.
• Manage cash flow, project budgets, staff salaries, and ensure financial stability.
• Lead the month close process and provide guidance and support.
• Manage financial and procurement policies and procedures.
• Donor Compliance:
• Prepare financial reports for project donors based on their requirements.
• Develop communication letters regarding donations.
• Follow-up with partners to ensure timely budget control and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements, including anti-terror regulations, bidding processes, and origin/nationality restrictions.
• Coordinate with project staff to ensure adherence to donor requirements for specific projects.
• Budgeting:
• Develop operational, cash, and project budgets in coordination with program teams.
• Enter and maintain all budgets in NetSuite for the israeli entity.
• Manage budget re-allocations and ensure regional budget totals are maintained.
• Monitor current project budgets and expenditures.
• Develop forecasting reports for cash and budget control.
• Additional Responsibilities:
• Supervise personnel files, timesheets, leave schedules, and severance/compensation issues.
• Support national and regional management as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA is an advantage)
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, ideally in an international organization.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in financial software (NetSuite a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel required).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in Hebrew and English (Arabic a plus).
• Identification with the values of EcoPeace Middle East.
