The ideal junior candidate will analyze, review, and implement changes to websites to optimize them for search engines. This candidate will be able to develop and execute actionable strategies that improve site visibility and search engine rankings. Additionally, a strong understanding of web design, HTML, content management, and familiarity with AI tools will be a significant advantage.
Responsibilities- Review and analyze client sites for areas needing improvement in SEO and user experience.
- Assist in preparing detailed strategy reports to address key opportunities for improvement.
- Support the creation and launch of digital marketing and SEO campaigns.
- Help implement on-page and off-page optimization strategies to improve clients' rankings in major search engines.
- Collaborate with web designers and developers to ensure SEO best practices are followed during site structure and design processes.
- Create and manage website content, ensuring it is optimized for search engines and aligned with client goals.
- Leverage AI tools for content generation, SEO analysis, and other digital marketing tasks.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Web Development, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 1-2 years of experience in SEO, web development, or digital marketing. Recent graduates or candidates with strong foundational knowledge and internships are welcome to apply.
- Basic understanding of search engines (Google, Bing, etc.) and SEO principles.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus, especially to help identify and resolve issues affecting website performance and SEO.
- Familiarity with web design and website builders (such as WordPress, Shopify, Wix) to assist in optimizing user experience and search engine visibility.
- Experience in content creation and management, ensuring content is optimized for SEO.
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, SurferSEO) to aid in content creation, SEO analysis, and campaign management.
- Basic knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs) for tracking and reporting on site performance.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with developers, clients, and cross-functional teams.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
- Familiarity with website speed optimization techniques (e.g., image compression, caching).
- Understanding of UI/UX design principles and how they intersect with SEO strategies.
- Knowledge of paid search (PPC) campaigns and how to integrate them into broader digital marketing strategies.
- A strong desire to grow professionally in SEO, content management, and digital marketing.
