Software Quality Assurance Engineer

At theLotter the QA is open to embrace a new way of thinking and method of testing.

We believe the testing activities should be shared and practiced by anyone in the development team (developers) and not just the testers.

QA assist the teams with "hands on" capabilities, but we believe the emphasize should be on mentoring and leading the teams for improved quality. QA should constantly engage with the team's testing practices and improving their skills, coverage and risks.

Main Responsibilities

As QA engineer:

• Be able to write tests and execute complex end to end tests.
• Assist teams as needed to complete features.
• UI tests, integration tests, devices, browsers and etc.
• Sensitive business logic tests.
• End to end testing
• Able to create and run Automation Tests
• Innovate on testing tools, quality, and team processes
• Never stop learning and improving...yourself, the team and the developers.

As a Tech Leader

• You are able to Lead software engineers to write good Test plan.
• You ask good questions
• Review test plan written by the software engineers

As a IC

• You monitor production environment, emails, data dog, Slack, WhatsApp.
• You send good request in all channels and understand the purpose of each channel.
• You are able to handle Tarzan, from email pickup to execution.

Role Specifics

• Bachelor's degree (Advantage in Computer Science or industrial engineering and management)
• Knowledge in Quality assurance practices, processes.
• Experience in complex products
• Advantage Knowledge with one or more of the following languages: Nodejs, .NET, python
• Advantage Knowledge in one or more of the following databases: MSSQL, Elastic, Cassandra, Mongo
• Highly Communicative & Expressive
• Passionate & Eager to learn
• Team player
• Good English
