Program Manager

Cielo Inertial Solutions, a leading company in the development and production of Inertial Navigation Systems for the defense industry in Israel and International Markets, is looking for an

Program Manager

with solid background in the defense industry to join us, lead and manage challenging programs that involve development and deliveries, based on Cielo’s cutting-edge products.

Your day-to-day activity is to work closely with multiple internal and external interfaces – engineering, operations, subcontractors, customers, and management to execute, control, and manage the programs’ work plan, deliveries and budget.

In this role you will –

1.      Manage and execute highly technological development and delivery programs.

2.      Develop and lead comprehensive project plans, overseeing and assessing project progress and timelines, and adapting schedules and plans as necessary to ensure timeline delivery.

3.      Plan, track, and control work plans and budget

4.      Manage the entire work interfaces with customers, including seeking new opportunities and responding to RFIs and RFQs.

5.      Collaborate closely with team leads, technical leads, and other management personas to ensure alignment and synergy across projects

6.      Manage subcontractors' operations

7.      Matrix management of company resources

8.      Follow-up on the implementation of decisions and tasks that are decided upon throughout the project

Role requirements -

1.      At least 7 years prior experience in managing multidisciplinary technological programs, or leading significant aspects of such programs.

2.      Solid technical background - A Must.

3.      BSc. or higher degree one of the following fields, or related ones – Physics, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.

4.      Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - ability to manage without authority in a matrix work environment.

5.      Strong leadership skills with a proactive approach.

6.      Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

7.      Multitasking capabilities – coordination capabilities to manage several resources.

8.      Be a leader and a motivator, self-driven, communicative.

9.      Be fluent in English.

10.   Willingness for international travel

11.   Former experience in defense industry – an advantage.

12.   Military background in ground forces, preferably artillery – an advantage.

13.   Experience in agile work environment. Experience with Click-Up – an advantage.

Work is in Jerusalem.
