Job Description:

Providing solutions and support for medium complexity problems that arise in database usage

Designing, developing, and implementing requirements for analytics and data access work

Conducting quality control and understanding pipelines of analytical models

Managing and running queries and performing optimizations

Having a technical understanding of operations related to database infrastructures

Collaborating with business entities and integrating into an existing development team

Requirements:

• SQL and RDBMS relational databases - an advantage

• Familiarity with the concept of DWH and ETL processes

• Practical experience on NoSQL / Big Data environments

• Establishment and configuration of Data Streaming

• Establishment and configuration of Data Pipelines

• Writing characterization and architecture documents

• Development on Spark

• Familiarity with the concept of Machine Learning

• Work with geographic data layers - GIS

• Experience working with databases and ETL products in cloud environments with an emphasis on GCP

• Experience with BI and analytics visualization tools, including such products in the cloud

• Experience working in the QLIK SENSE environment

• Experience in characterizing and establishing a data lake and/or characterizing and establishing a data warehouse combining structured and unstructured information of any kind

• Experience in characterizing and establishing a METADATA layer and a semantic layer for data

• Experience or participation in migration processes to the GCP environment
