Researcher - Maternity leave replacement

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our R&D team for a maternity leave replacement (~4 Months), with a strong emphasis on protein expression in bacteria, protein purification, and vector design capabilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of advanced research in a fast-paced start-up company.

Responsibilities

1.  Conduct microbiological experiments and assays with precision and accuracy, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
2. Utilize expertise in protein expression to design, optimize, and execute bacterial expression systems.
3. Conduct purification and reaction time assays
4. Analyze data and interpret results.
5. Maintain thorough documentation of experimental procedures, results, and observations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements:

1.     B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in microbiology, biotechnology, molecular biology, or a related field.

2.     Proficiency in microbiological and molecular biology techniques.

3.     Strong understanding of microbial physiology, genetics, and ecology.

4.     Experience in protein expression techniques, including bacterial expression systems.

5.     Knowledge and capabilities in vector design for protein expression and genetic manipulation in bacteria.

6.     Flexibility in working hours to accommodate project timelines and experimental schedules.

7.     Strong team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

8.     Eagerness to learn and develop.
