Generative AI Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Gen AI Specialist to spearhead, together

with the product team, the research and development of the AI infrastructure and language

models integral to MCE's Digital Device Lifecycle Management Platform.

This role is pivotal in advancing our mission to revolutionize device lifecycle management through

cutting-edge AI technologies, focusing on Domain-Specific Language Models (DSLMs).

The ideal candidate will have a robust background in AI, machine learning, and particularly in developing and fine-tuning DSLMs, with a passion for pushing the boundaries of what's possible in machine learning technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Research and Development: Lead the R&D efforts for AI infrastructure and DSLMs, from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring they meet the high standards required for MCE’s DDLM Platform.
• Benchmarking and Fine-Tuning: Conduct comprehensive benchmarking against industry standards and perform fine-tuning of AI models to optimize performance and accuracy.
• RAG Engineering: Implement and manage cutting edge RAG systems to enhance information retrieval and comprehension capabilities of AI models.
• Guardrails and Prompt Engineering: Develop and maintain robust guardrails to ensure AI models operate within ethical and safety parameters. Utilize advanced prompt engineering techniques to improve model responsiveness and accuracy.
• Model Selection and Development: Actively participate in the model selection process, leveraging expertise to identify the most suitable AI models for specific applications within the platform all the way to training open-source models.
• API calling: Create the ability for the DSLM to call APIs by MCE and third parties. A core capability of the DSLM framework is to get information from the device and perform operations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with a focused team, including DevOps and QA Automation Engineers, supported by QA, mobile and desktop app development teams, and Product and UX teams, to ensure seamless integration and deployment of AI technologies.
• Innovation: Stay ahead of the latest developments in AI and machine learning, continuously exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance MCE’s platform capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Strong experience in Gen AI and ML, with a focus on developing and fine-tuning Domain-Specific Language Models.
• Proficiency in benchmarking, RAG engineering, guardrails, and prompt engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Familiarity with computer vision-based segmentation models is a plus.
• Experience with Nvidia's AI Enterprise and AWS Bedrock environments is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with edge inferencing for small models on mobile devices would be an advantage.
