We’re looking for a talented and experienced Data Specialist to work with the worlds leading social media company.

This position is located in Tel Aviv.

Job description:

You will work with R&D teams that develop core technologies for VR/AR and the Metaverse, by supporting the team of developers and data scientists by analysing large volumes of data from different sources in different format and bring them to the landing layers for R&D teams

Analyze data from various system resources

Benchmark and optimize data from diversified sources and bring them to the agreed formatSupport integration of computer-vision features Proactively identify and drive changes as needed for assigned analysis tasks, product area and/or systems.

Job requirements:

• Education: - BSc degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, or a related field).

• Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 2+ years of experience in managing data and working with data systems.
• Experience in operating and troubleshooting hardware prototypes.
• Experience in creating and maintaining data processing pipelines, not just for analysis but also for proactive data management.
• Analyze large, complex datasets to extract meaningful patterns, trends, and insights.
• Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses and validate models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data-related needs and opportunities for business improvement.
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of data and analytical results through rigorous validation and testing.
• Strong computer skills, with proficiency in various software and services.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Expertise in statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and data visualization tools
• Comfortable with collaboration tools (Google Docs, Spreadsheets).
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Team player.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
